Our Seattle Bed and Breakfast is Closed as of March 3, 2019

We’re sorry to disappoint our returning and prospective guests, but life has a way of twisting and turning, and we find that it’s time to take a different path. If you need accommodations in Seattle, we have the following recommendations:

Near us in North SeattleGreenlake Guesthouse, run very professionally by our friends Julie and Blayne McAferty. You will be very comfortable and cared-for here.

Follow 9 Cranes Inn Assistant Innkeeper Smokey Jackson — he has moved on to The Bacon Mansion in a lovely north Capitol  Hill neighborhood.

Check out other licensed and inspected Seattle Bed & Breakfast Association inns here.

The rest of this page and and website is our original information, which we will leave up for a time. While we won’t be updating the website, we will keep in touch with folks via our Facebook page, so tune in to that if you are interested. Thanks to all who supported us these last eight years!

Our inn enjoys a prime location in one of those areas – Phinney Ridge – with easy access to several other popular neighborhoods, such as Ballard, Fremont, Wallingford, Greenwood, and Green Lake. The Woodland Park Zoo is three blocks away, and even closer is the bus stop so you can get downtown without traffic or parking hassles. Parking on the street out front is free and usually easy. 9 Cranes Inn is a bed and breakfast that truly reflects the city’s character. We’ve got style, historic charm, and modern amenities. Whether you’re vacationing in the Pacific Northwest, visiting friends or family, or doing business in Seattle, we’d like to help you have a pleasant stay. And we’ve got plenty of good coffee to keep you energized for it.
